An inquiry about ALG function

Hi!

I'm trying to use wireless internet phone that my parents sent me from my home country.

I was wondering if ALG function is automatically set up as 'ON' because I was informed from the producer of the internet phone that if the function is on, it will block during installment process.

* I like in student accomodation and I'm subscribed to Resnet.
